WASHINGTON (AP) — A national report on wild dogs says at least 60 wild dogs have escaped from a trail that is part of the National Trust’s Montauk and Delaware Bay National Scenic Trails.
The Washington Post says the state Department of Natural Resources has launched a pilot project in hopes of getting more than half of the dogs taken off the Montauk Trail, which spans the waters of Montauk Bay, in the next six months.

The survey is looking at at least 30 wild dogs in eight states. If at least 60 escaped the Montauk Trail in the next six months, it would be a signgospelhitzificant increase over the numbers discovered during last year’s survey, the survey report says. The project started in April and has involved two states, Washington and North Dakota.
“I was pretty surprised to see so many escaped at one time,” says Michael Rupprecht, the state agency’s executive director. “When you have so many, it’s likely there’s still enough to go around.”
More than 700 miles of the Montauk Trail카지노 사이트 are owned by the National Trust, and the state agency is using GPS and other devices to identify wild dogs from the mountain’s tops. The dogs are released to a refuge as soon as the survey finds one.
